To Benefit Jericho Road Project and JR Lynn

The Jericho Road Project will present its inaugural gala, Roaring Ahead, a Roaring Twenties themed event, on May 22, 2010. 1920s costumes are optional. The venue is the Collings Foundation estate, sited on the banks of the Assabet River in Stow, MA. The Collings Foundation features an extraordinary collection of antique cars and airplanes that will be open for gala attendees to view. The Collings Foundation has some of the most important pre-war American classic cars and historically significant race cars in the world.

Roaring Ahead features a tour of the collection, a delectable meal, an open bar, notable speakers, and silent and live auctions. A walk-on role donated by a feature film producer, dinner with a famous author, and a city-to-city ride in a World War II vintage heavy bomber are among the distinctive items to be auctioned off.

Proceeds from Roaring Ahead will benefit the Jericho Road Project newest site: JR Lynn. The Jericho Road Project matches the professional talents of volunteer consultants with the capacity-building and professional service needs of community-based nonprofits, in order to create: high performing nonprofit organizations; a better quality of life for underserved-communities; and, inspired and informed volunteer-advocates for urban causes. The Jericho Road Project serves nonprofits in the post-industrial communities of Lowell, Lawrence, Worcester and Lynn, MA.
